When God Writes Your Love Story: Learning to Wait on His Timing

Hey there, my beautiful SisterKeephers! I've got something on my heart today that I just have to share with you. It's all about trusting God's plan, especially when it comes to matters of the heart. You know, I've been there, and if you're anything like me, you've had those moments where you just don't get what God is doing in your life.

God's Promise: Psalm 84:11 (KJV) "The Lord will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly."

This verse hit me hard during a challenging time in my life. I was engaged to my high school sweetheart, and everything seemed set for that happily ever after. But deep down, God was showing me he wasn't 'The One.' Talk about a heartbreak! But God, in His wisdom, was teaching me to hold out for something, or rather someone, better.

There’s a Season for Everything: Ecclesiastes 3:1 (KJV) "To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven."

I learned the hard way that God’s timing is always perfect. When I finally surrendered my relationship to Him, I discovered that He was preparing me for someone incredible. It’s like He was saying, "Wait, I've got something amazing up my sleeve."

The Reward of Patience: Isaiah 40:31 (KJV) "They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles."

Y’all, waiting isn’t easy, but it’s so worth it. When I focused on God, served Him, and got lost in ministry, He was quietly working on my love story. I met my now husband while I was doing PR for a Christian DJ. Talk about unexpected!

Trusting Beyond What We See: Proverbs 3:5-6 (KJV) "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding."

Letting go of my fiancé was tough, but I trusted that God had a plan for both of us. And guess what? He truly did! My husband is everything I prayed for and more – a man after God’s own heart, patient, supportive, and an amazing dad. I wouldn't trade my journey for anything.

Final Thoughts:

So, my dear sisters, remember this: God knows what He’s doing. If you’re feeling impatient or wondering why things aren’t working out, just hold on. Your story isn’t over yet. God is writing something beautiful with your life.

I’ll leave you with this gem: Romans 8:28 (KJV), "All things work together for good to them that love God." Whatever you’re going through, God’s got you. He’s working it all out for your good. So keep trusting, keep believing, and keep serving. He’s got your back, always.

Sending you all my love and prayers. Stay strong, stay faithful, and most importantly, stay in His will. God’s got a plan, and it’s gonna blow your mind!
