A Reach Beyond the Smile

The uncertainties of life are something no one likes.  Sure it’s difficult and sometimes it feels unbearable.  There is this feeling that you did something wrong in your life to experience such pain.  You try to think back in time what that could be.  The anxious feeling that things won’t change…I mean it’s been this way for so long how can it change....right?

You look for support from others to find that they expect you to change your emotions with a flick of a button not understanding or really knowing what you face on a day-to-day basis (or you may think...) The feeling of not progressing, the feeling of failure, the feeling of depression, the feeling of always being without.  You try to shake the feeling, but you just can’t.  You try to remain positive so you decide not to speak in fear something else would come out.  You hold back your feeling because you feel that others won’t understand and say to brush it off.  It’s easy to say brush it off when that person has never experienced what you are going through right (or so you think....)

I understand…I get it…I have been there… I want you to know that you are not alone.  Even in my time of need I still have found a way to write this blog so that someone else is uplifted.  If I can make another person smile, and feel hopeful because it’s worth it. Sometimes people won’t understand what you are going through if they haven’t been through it.  Then there are times people do understand you because they have been through it. It’s hard I know.  It’s downright tiring. I understand, but you have to hold on to what little you have and have faith that God will take you through this. All you need is faith as a size of a mustard seed Matthew 17:20-21. If you never meet anyone who has been down your road understand and know that God understands your pain and is there to help you through it.

It’s ok to cry, it’s ok to yell.  Let it all out and release that hurt and pain. However; don’t stay too long in your pain. Allow your pain to strengthen you and bring you to another level from before.  Trust God. Trust Him! You have to trust Him!  Know that He knows all, and will NEVER hold anything good from you.  Wait on the Lord and do not let your hearts be troubled, and be not afraid. John 14 KJV
